Does my car need servicing?

Sounds like a stupid question but really how many people don't get there car serviced?  A friend of mine likes a joke now and again. He's the one with the attitude of. Not servicing my car, what a waste of money. We all know someone like this. So tried to reason with him about the benefits and savings in the long run it would make. He told me "yes whatever!" A few weeks passed, had a few drinks and he quizzed me. And asked what can I do to increase performance on my car. I had to laugh. "What you laughing at?" He didn't like my answer. I replied “ why not get it serviced?” Then I had him hear me out, explaining the following New oil and filter, the like blood of the engine obviously. Modern engines are designed to use small amounts of oil.
