Wetbelt guides - how to and more!  There is a new craze out there with vehicle manufacturers. They have come up with a fresh idea, love it or hate it, it would appear it’s here to stay. It’s predominantly used by Ford with the Ecoboost, and the Peugeot PSA group that covers many Peugeot, Citroen, Renault and Vauxhalls.  You may be wondering what this craze is! They have decided to encase the timing belt inside the engine like a timing chain and allowed this to run in engine oil. Good idea, bad idea? you decide. The manufacturers thought the belt would last longer, but from my experiences it’s totally the opposite. One common fault is on the 1.2 puretech engine where just after 40k the engine like comes on.
